NSW: Jury at Gilham trial in "signficant disagreement"

Significant disagreement has arisen between jurors deliberating at the double-murder
trial of JEFFREY GILHAM in Sydney.

After receiving the jurors' note in the NSW Supreme Court today .. Justice RODERICK
HOWIE sent the seven women and five men home to quietly reflect on the case.

37 year old GILHAM has pleaded not guilty to the stabbing murders of his parents ..

STEVEN and HELEN GILHAM .. at the family home at Woronora in August 1993.

In April 1995 .. he pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his brother CHRISTOPHER ..

but told the jury he fatally stabbed him after he confessed to killing their parents.

Police say he killed all three.

The judge has told the jury more time and patience could lead to an agreement .. but
he's told them he's not trying to force anyone to move away from their view unless they
can reasonably do it.
